Frequently Asked Questions & Troubleshooting

❓ Why does Chrome warn "File might be harmful"?

Google Chrome shows this default warning for any APK downloaded from the web outside the Play Store. Our APK is 100% clean, virus-scanned, and maintained directly by the GSWS Central Directorate. You can safely click Download anyway.

❓ What if I get "App Not Installed" error?

This usually happens if your device storage is full, or if you have an older test version installed with a conflicting signature. Uninstall the previous test app first, free up at least 100 MB of internal storage, and retry.

❓ Does the app work without internet?

You can draft daily research work logs offline. Once you connect to Wi-Fi or cellular data, pending logs and attendance records synchronize automatically with the central server.
